About Us
Hello and welcome to Happy Hearts CPR training! I’m Jaclyn Yeager, owner and lead instructor. Thank you so much for your interest in learning about basic and advanced life support.
All courses offered are American Heart Association (AHA) certified. Upon completion of your course, an e-card from AHA will be issued to students. All certifications are good for two years. You can choose to attend an in-person class or complete one of the AHA Heartcode online courses and schedule an appointment for an in-person skills check off.
Born and raised in Southeastern NC, I have been a RN since 2000. Proud graduate of UNC-Wilmington (twice!) with my bachelor’s in nursing and later with my master’s in nursing education. Go Seahawks!! My background includes acute in-patient care, open-heart intensive care, pre/postoperative nursing, and being a nurse educator. I have been certified in adult & pediatric advanced life support since 2005 and have been an AHA instructor since 2014.
I have a strong passion for healthcare education and believe everyone should know how to perform chest compressions and use an AED (automatic external defibrillator). You never know when you may be in the position to save someone’s life.
